On Thursday, June 23rd 2016, the Britain chooses to exit the European Union (EU) by voting for Brexit. According to the sources, in this referendum, 48.1% people voted to remains in the European Union and 51.9% people voted to leave the EU. This result of the referendum shocks the whole world.
The Prime Minister of United Kingdom, David Cameron, resigned from his designation and said that the country needs the “fresh leadership” to take into that direction.
“I don’t think it would be right for me to be the captain that steers our country to its next destination,” He said in a statement outside Downing Street, “Will of the public cannot be neglected”, he added.
He was so emotional during the speech and almost got tears in his eyes as his voice was breaking and he flanked by his wife who was standing right next to him. He was the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom for the last six years.
