‘The Walking Dead: Season 7’ New Trailer | Negan is Everywhere

The seventh season of The Walking Dead, an American horror–drama television series on AMC, is scheduled to premiere on October 23, 2016, and consist of 16 episodes that will be split into two eight-episode parts, with the second half debuting in February 2017. Developed for television by Frank Darabont, the series is based on the eponymous series of comic books by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard. The executive producers are Kirkman, David Alpert, Scott M. Gimple, Greg Nicotero, Tom Luse, and Gale Anne Hurd, with Gimple as showrunner for the fourth consecutive season. This season will introduce notable comic character Ezekiel and his pet tiger Shiva, as well as the locations The Kingdom and The Sanctuary.

A new trailer for The Walking Dead season 7 has been released and, considering it clocks in at a brief 30 seconds, we went ahead and dissected each frame to see if we could unearth any fresh hints.

Unsurprisingly, it’s Negan heavy (Negan being the new antagonist dramatically introduced in season 6’s closing moments by bludgeoning one of the main characters to death with a baseball bat he refers to as Lucille. The identity of said character will remain a secret until the opening moments of season 7, according to executive producer Greg Nicotero).

While the clip doesn’t reveal who Negan kills, it may go some way to show who the Saviours’ leader doesn’t kill with potential appearances from characters in the running.
